Beginner Band Information

Band Parents,

Here is some information regarding our required list of supplies as well as models of instruments required.  Not all instruments are created with the same quality of materials and craftsmanship as well as endurance for young band students so please be sure to get an instrument from this list.

There will be an instrument drive on August 11th, where Collins Music will be at Sweeny Junior High. If you choose to purchase your instrument from another source, please be sure to get an instrument from this list below.  There are different plans available for parents who choose “rent to own” or purchase without a rental plan.

All students must have an instrument secured by Monday, August 29, 2017. Those who do not have an instrument secured by then could be dropped from band.  If you are in need financial assistance, or if you have any other questions, please contact one of the directors for more information.

*** All students will need a wire music stand from the music store for home practice. ***

Band books and Band spirit shirts will be purchased from the school, in band class.
