Welcome to Sweeny Junior High News! 

At Sweeny Junior High, we provide our students with an exceptional learning experience in broadcasting, podcasting, and journalism. Our students stay up-to-date with the latest news and events through our Silver Linings broadcast, student podcasts, and the campus newspaper, Paw Prints. As part of our commitment to academic excellence, we give our students the tools and resources they need to succeed in their chosen fields.

The Sweeny Junior High students have a unique opportunity to explore their journalism, communications, and audio/visual interests thanks to the Sweeny ISD Education Foundation Bright Minds Grant. With this grant, our students can access these resources and educational experiences. We are truly grateful to the SISD Education Foundation for their dedication to growing our students' potential and expanding their horizons.
